Gift Auction Rousing Success!

On Friday March 13, 2009, St. Virgil School held their annual Gift Auction at the Birchwood Manor. This year’s event was fantastic with an elegant dinner, a Gift Basket Raffle with over 100 baskets valued at over $50,000. As well as the extensive basket auction, each St. Virgil class created a piece of art work that was auctioned off in a Silent Auction. Guests were each given a large
·goody bagö with items from many of the SVS sponsors. Door prizes and a grand raffle were also part of the fun evening

With a sold out crowd of more than 500 attendees, this year’s auction made more than $70,000 to benefit the children of St. Virgil School. Plans are already underway for next year’s Gift Auction will be the 100th anniversary of St. Virgil School.
